How Much Does a Small Business Website Cost in Pennsylvania?

By Keystone IT Connect • April 1, 2026

Most professionally built small business websites in Pennsylvania land between $999 and $1,500 to build, plus either monthly or yearly hosting. There are also monthly-only plans that spread the cost out. Here's what those numbers actually mean.

What you should be paying for

  • A 1–5 page website that looks good on phones
  • Click-to-call, contact form, and clear hours
  • Basic SEO setup so Google can find you
  • SSL certificate (the lock icon in the browser)
  • Managed hosting that stays online
  • Backups, in case anything goes wrong
  • Support after launch

Our three pricing options

Option 1 — $1,500 build + $240/year hosting. One-time build, low yearly hosting. Best long-term value if you can pay upfront.

Option 2 — $999 build + $59/month hosting. Lower upfront cost, monthly hosting. Most popular pick.

Option 3 — $149/month with a 12-month minimum. No big upfront payment. Spread the cost out evenly.

What to watch out for

  • Hidden recurring fees — make sure hosting and domain renewals are clearly listed.
  • Templates dressed up as custom design — ask to see real, recent work.
  • No support after launch — a website you can't update is a website that gets stale.
  • Long contracts with no exit — at minimum, ask what happens if you ever want to leave.

A note on much cheaper "$50 websites"

Sites under a few hundred dollars are usually templates with little customization, no SEO setup, and no support. They look fine in a screenshot but rarely bring in real customers. You'll often pay more in the long run replacing them.
